Küsimused

Does India observe DST?

No. Asia/Kolkata is IST (UTC+05:30) all year. Germany, the Baltics, the US, and parts of Australia do switch.

Is GMT the same as UTC?

For everyday conversion they match (UTC+00 / GMT+00). Historically GMT is a time standard; UTC is the civil reference we use in labels.
